Die Vermessung der Welt - Daniel Kehlmann

Mit diesem ersten Buch das ich euch hier vorstellen und empfehlen möchte leute ich auch gleich eine neue Ära der Buchempfehlungen auf meinem Blog ein. Hierzu möchte ich ein Fragen-Grundgerüst erstellen, welches ich bei jeder Buchvorstellung beibehalten will.
Auch euch lade ich herzlich ein dieses kleine Grüst von mir mit Fragen zu erweitern die euch interessieren und die ich dann eventuell mit in mein Gerüst nehme.
Wenn ihr wollt macht doch einfach mit. Fragen kopieren und eigene Lieblings- oder halt einfach gelesen, weil interessant- Bücher vorstellen und den Link davon hier hinterlassen.

Die Eckdaten bitte!

Das Buch "Die Vermessung der Welt" von Daniel Kehlmann habe ich vom 07.04.12 bis zum 06.05.12 gelesen. Es ist eine bemerkenswerte Geschichte auf knapp über 300 Seiten (302 um genau zu sein). Seit langem mal wieder ein Buch, das in Kapitel aufgeteilt wird.
Erschienen ist das Buch bereits 2005 im Rowohlt Verlag. Ich laß die 22. Auflage vom Dezember 2011 (um die Fakten zu kompletieren) und kostet 9,99 €.

I read it from 07.04.2012 till 06.05.2012. It's an amazing story that runs over 302 sites. It is decided into chapter, which makes it easier to read.


Die Intention - Warum hast du es gelesen?

Schon vor ein paar Jahren bin ich bei amazon.de über das Cover des Buches gestolpert. Ich suche Bücher oft nach dem Cover aus auch wenn es sich danach als Flopp rausstellt. Ganz anders aber bei diesem Buch. Ich hatte es schon fast wieder vergessen, da viele andere Bücher (unteranderem auch Pflichtlektüre) unseren Weg kreuzten. Wir, das Buch und ich, fanden erst in diesem Frühjahr wieder zusammen.
Genaugenommen auf der Zugfahrt in die Osterferien. Ich habe einen Artikel über Daniel Kehlmann gelesen und da tauchte es wieder auf und war sofort wieder present in meinem Kopf bis ich es mir zwei Tage später kaufte.

The intention - Why have you read this book?

Some years ago I searched on amazon for a new book. The cover of  "Measuring the world" caught my attention and I was wondering what an interessting cover the book had. A lot of times it goes like this: There is an unbeliveable interessting cover on a book and I must read it. Unfortunetley a good cover is no guarantor for a good book. (But this time it was!)
Several years have elapsed until I thought about the book again. For some unknown reasons I did not bought the book as I found it for the first time. So on easterholidays I read an article about Daniel Kehlmann and so I remember the book, went into a bookstore and bought it.

Was gefällt dir daran besonders?

Dass es von bekannten Persönlichkeiten handelt über die ich mir noch nie meinen Kopf zerbrochen habe - Alexander von Humboldt und Carl Friedrich Gauß.
Und auch Herrn Bonpland lernt man kennen, der mir im Laufe des Buches besonders ans Herz gewachsen ist. Letztendlich kann ich sogar sagen, dass er mich mehr interessierte als Gauß, der sich mir als sehr unsympatisch darstellte.

Anything you especially like?

It deals with historical figures like Alexander von Humboldt and Carl Friedrich Gauß as well as Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and so on.  I got to know Aimé Bonpland, another person in this book, and loved him. He's a very special and nice character as contrasted with Gauß, whom I don't like that much. I think it's very interessting to get to know such people in that way of a novel.

Ich habe gerade auf Wikipedia erfahren, dass ein Film mit Vorlage des Buches gedreht wurde der am 25.Oktober 2012 in die Kinos kommen soll. Na da bin ich mal gespannt :)

Is there an additional information?

There will be a movie from this book released in autumn (in Germany). I dont't know exactly whether and when it will be released in other countries.
